1. Commitment to Inclusive Mathematics

EduNetSystems and Curvat.io are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually refine the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards, targeting conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA and Section 508 guidelines.

2. Keyboard Navigation & Focus Management

• All core application dialogs (Share, Help, About, Feedback) support modal focus trapping and dismiss reliably with the Escape key.
• Math input fields are powered by MathLive, which provides rich physical keyboard shortcuts (e.g. / for fractions, ^ for exponents, sqrt for square roots) as well as an accessible on-screen virtual keyboard with customizable elevation physics.
• Expression cards can be quickly added by pressing Enter directly from the equation field.

3. Visual Contrast & Motion Controls

• High-Contrast Mathematical Palette: Curve and geometric colors are chosen to maintain strong contrast against both light canvas paper (#FBFAF7) and white cards.
• Non-Color Distinctions: Curves can be set to dashed styling to aid users with color vision deficiencies.
• Reduced Motion: CSS animations respect system prefers-reduced-motion settings.
• Mobile Targets: Touch targets on mobile viewports are sized to at least 44×44 pixels.

4. Known Limitations & Roadmap

While mathematical formula entry and deck navigation are keyboard accessible, real-time auditory sonification of dynamic continuous curves and complex geometric intersections is currently in active research and development. We are actively investigating speech synthesis descriptions and audio trace feedback for visual curves.
